The photo series <Daybetter> is an expression of a practice that explores empathy with other Asians in Western countries: people who share the same experiences, who live and work in the West, who live in the same grey areas and have immigrated in search of a better life. They have opened the door for the artist to look into the stories of others, and into the system of restricted and exploitative working conditions.
